The thought that comes to mind on processing that response is "really now Cain?? However as the scripture quoted above, we are encouraged and strengthened by the acknowledgement that yes suffering may be encountered, not only that but it may endure that is to say it may drag on and be drawn out for a while. It cannot be wished upon a person to be interested in a task at hand, neither can an individual be coerced into being passionate about one's work.
