WHY SHOULD YOU WALK ALONE AMONG SEVEN BILLION PEOPLE? - TEAM UP FOR YOUR VISION AND MAKE IT COUNT!

If you are about something and are passionate about it even without all the answers you are halfway there. Passion and commitment make the solid starting point, from there it's execution all the way through right to the accomplishment of the goal.

However execution is neither straightforward nor impossible, it involves many dynamic processes both seen and unforeseen. One may have so many ideas and resources to make a project successful yet lack knowledge and full skill to execute with precision. This needs not be a stumbling block which can cause one to abort the mission of realising the big dream or intended goal. If one has conceived it in the mind and visualised it then it is possible even against odds.

Is there a remedy or answer to seemingly formidable obstacles and stumbling blocks in our path to realising dreams? Surely there is an answer, we can emphatically say YES!

The answer is within a success formula of "5 Ps" namely Pray, Plan, Prepare, Pursue and Produce. As people of faith, prayer is an indispensable part of our existence, it is the beginning of our answer which is to share the vision and one's aspirations with the Lord of all flesh the Almighty God who asks "....is there anything too hard for me?" Surely not. Sharing our ideas and plans with the Lord puts them into perspective in terms of prority and morality thereby clarifying our vision.

The Bible says in Proverbs 16:3 KJV
[3] Commit thy works unto the Lord , and thy thoughts shall be established.

From there we determine all that is needed for the mission in terms of resources in the planning process, having quantified the requirements we prepare to execute by employing a well thought out strategy and tactics.

We are beings in a dynamic world and as such tactics cannot be static, this is where we learn not to lean on our individual understanding only lest we limit ourselves and come unstuck.

By carefully looking around us we can identify the people with the knowledge, ability and skill we lack in making our mission achievable. We are never alone and there is no need to isolate ourselves in executing missions, we rope in others for collaboration and cooperation. There is always, always someone with a complementary ability out there which can blend with ours to produce the desired result, our task therefore is to look and identify that person or people.

We share our vision and aspirations with like minded people in the process of execution. However, not all like-minded people we reach out to are readily available or willing to give us the time of day, they may be preoccupied with their own challenges or already spread themselves too thin helping other causes.

When we reach out we should anticipate one of three possible outcomes; (i) a positive response, (ii) a rejection or negative response and (iii) to be ignored i.e. getting no response at all. The first response is what we always seek, yet it is NOT what we always get.

However the first response is what will unlock the action plan therefore we remain resolute in looking for more people and institutions to cooperate with for what we need. The more we knock on doors the more we increase chances of getting a positive response, if we stop looking and asking we extinguish any chance of getting the necessary help and cooperation.

Who do we share our aspiration and vision with? In this era of global networking the world has become one big village, anyone is within reach of more people than imaginable.
We are no longer confined by distance and time, contacts are the currency of networking and when used effectively they yield phenomenal results from collaboration between what might have been total strangers once upon a time originating and living in far apart places even beyond seas and oceans.

There is a concept termed called- communication which is generally the act of
getting in touch with a person who is a total stranger to you yet you have theirs contacts somehow and you know they possess the complementary skill and abilities required for the plan to be executed smoothly.

Weird as it may sound and feel it works! Many dreams have come true after one took courage and cold-called or emailed the person they knew could help from seeing them on tv, social media and radio. When the person you need in terms of scope for your vision shows up in your radar
never ignore the event take it as a timely cue and open the communication with the three likely outcomes discussed above in mind, however your tone and inclination to forge a fruitful relationship must be clearly evident without being pushy.

Make your primary reason for connecting with the other person known in order for them to frame their mind accordingly as well otherwise you might be mistaken for just another fan if the person is a celebrity.

We do not reduce ourselves to helpless desperate beggars in the process of sharing our vision, we articulate it well and let the other person absorb it and get conviction to cooperate and collaborate with us.

Resonating vision and aspirations get overwhelming support when they get well received by those who see what we see even at vision stage. It becomes a project with a life of its own.

We are all called upon to be the light of the world, it is through articulating our aspirations and vision that
we keep the light shining brighter and brighter as we grow and aspire for even bigger things leaving behind a bright legacy of touching lives by joining hands with others.

What do you aspire for? What is your vision? What is missing in your plan to realise the vision? With whom have
you shared the vision?

Ignore the naysayers and press ahead till the vision speaks!

There is strength in numbers! Why should you walk alone among seven billion people? Team up for your vision and make it count!
