Water precious water! Vital for all known life forms vital for all existence. Chief among the elements wind, fire, earth, water is life!
Appreciate water and appreciate life! As much as it is abundant it is found scarce in many a place on earth. Appreciate water, appreciate life.
It is said that 71% of mother earth's surface is covered by water, 96.5%  of her crust's water is in the seas and oceans, 1.7% is underground another 1.7% makes up the glaciers and ice caps of Antarctica and Greenland. A small fraction in other large water bodies and a yet smaller fraction 0.001% is found in the air, vapour and clouds.

Indeed water is everywhere BUT only 2.5% is fresh water!! Yes just 2.5% is where we get our allocations for day to day living! Ponder that fellow human being and appreciate water, appreciate life giving water!
Every drop counts, water in our very living water is essential water quenches our thirst, keeps our bodies functioning assisting our metabolism in all its functions, catabolism and anabolism, precious water. Water cleanses us and our spaces, water transports and transforms, water is life. Appreciate water, appreciate life. Every drop counts.
Economics needs water for transportation of vessels, for driving turbines, for cooling engines for recreation. Water is vital and essential. Virtual water is what drives the economies from the elemental perspective.

Yet it is also said that in this world as many as one billion fellow human beings lack access to safe water this vital life giving water, two and a half billion lack access to sanitation the bare minimum.

One asks Whose project is it supposed to be? From whom must the solutions come to alleviate the plight of fellow human beings? Every man and woman who can make even the smallest difference in addressing this is a hero and heroine.
Hats off to those organisations, nations, missions, congregations, teams and individuals who have done, are doing and endeavor to contribute something to bring part of the 2.5% fresh water allocation to those who still lack access. Drilling boreholes, digging wells, laying supply pipelines, setting up irrigation schemes, building dams, providing water treatment materials and resources. Hats off! Kudos!

Water is essential water is the substance of life.
Science tells us about the uniqueness of water, chief of the elements. Water is the one element which exists naturally in all three states liquid, gas and solid here on mother earth in mother nature because the states are all essential to life forms.

Appreciate water, appreciate life. Conserve that water flowing out of you tap, look after the springs, the aquifers and all sources of fresh water each one of us in our spaces and localities. All seven billion of us have a role to play.

Every drop counts, appreciate water, appreciate life. Teach the kids while they are young to love and appreciate the beauty and value of water teach them to close the leaking taps, use water wisely, report burst pipes to the nearest adult and all loss of precious water
that they witness, that way we build in them responsibility and consciousness, when they grow up they will appreciate water they will appreciate life.

Precious water, essential water, vital water we are grateful for everyday.
