WHEN THE BURDEN SEEMS TOO HEAVY IN BUSINESS & IN DAILY LIVING, REMEMBER THIS - CHANGE IS GUARANTEED FOR EVERY SITUATION!

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Psalm 30:5 KJV.

Sometimes weeping, distress and suffering overwhelm us to the point of blurring our vision or blinding us altogether from looking ahead with hope.

The situation gets desperate and we feel helpless and nearly hopeless. However as the scripture quoted above, we are encouraged and strengthened by the acknowledgement that yes suffering may be encountered, not only that but it may endure that is to say it may drag on and be drawn out for a while.

The scripture goes on to say BUT, joy comes in the morning. Therein lies our message and lesson. Joy comes in the morning, yes, after that grueling, seemingly unending  ordeal
we get to experience new happiness and get over the gloomy feelings of sadness and pain.

In day-to-day living, it is not a question of if difficult situations will come our way rather it is a matter of when because they certainly will come sooner or later and in one form
or another.

One might look at the super-rich amongst us and think such people could never face problems or get distressed because they have all the money to buy the comforts and conveniences of this world right? - wrong!

Life itself cannot be bought otherwise the rich would buy and stockpile it for themselves and outlive the poorest of the poor, so a visit to a local cemetery during business hours will show one that the rich and the poor die alike and are interred just the same under the ground and both the surviving rich and poor walk above them awaiting their turn.

We may do our best to get the best medical care and be seen to by the best specialists doctors yet still succumb to weird diseases and conditions, this is not to discourage fellow people but to put into perspective that we are all human
beings and the real parameters of life apply to us all unlike artificial rules crafted by man for his benefit exploiting the less powerful and bending them at will with double standards.

So it is true that hard times will confront us all at one time or another and it is in dealing with them that we ought to pause and encourage ourselves with internally developed conviction that we are all loved immensely and without measure by an awesome God who is no respecter of persons and from whom all good things come.

When we hit rough patches we must remember that no situation is permanent or fixed no matter how good or bad it is always remember that IT WILL CHANGE! We live in a dynamic and fluid universe, change is
the absolute constant of life.

That rough patch of distressing times and events will certainly pass if you hold out and hold on knowing that change is guaranteed and your faith can carry you through. Sometimes change comes in a manner larger than us seeming far fetched yet work directly in our favour.

Imagine a poor  peasant laid off from employment struggling to pay utilities
living with daily threats from creditors coming to attach his property and eventually his house he bought whilst still working and saving for it, the only place he calls home for his family, suddenly an executive order is issued  cancelling all debts to public utilities by residents to alleviate the economic hardship of the masses. Imagine the delight and relief of such a man! Suddenly the  heavy yoke around his neck is broken, his biggest stress of life vanishes suddenly because of an executive order he is clueless about let alone knowing what an executive order is. All he would know is that he would have been in dire straits and his debt suddenly got cancelled!

The above is a real life example of change coming for the direct benefit of one's situation yet one had no influence in it, it  is by no means an advocation for or against wholesale slashing of debts owed to utilities, such change could come in  many different forms yet achieve the same effect of positive externalities.

We live in a world operating at a frenetic pace, frustration grips us constantly when our lives fall out of sync with this pace as we feel left behind and redundant. One theologian once said;

"Amid the prosperity of the wicked,how hard it is to keep the flock focused"

Indeed it is a struggle and battle of will within the same person to maintain resolve and live uprightly when all around you are subscribing to waywardness and exerting pressure on you to blend in order to deceive their own conscience. One's life can be made a living hell by remorseless unenlightened people who want to impose their ill will on others as a show of power and means of achieving wayward ends.

No matter how much under ill will, duress and undue influence making life difficult for us we ought to know always that there is always a way out and that evil will never have the final say, good shall always prevail over evil, yes evil may endure for a while but ultimately it will be overcome.

So when the burden seems too heavy to bear let us remember that whatever form the burden presents itself that situation is guaranteed to turn and one's outlook matters, positivity, faith and hope carry us through and out of any and all difficult situations.

Even powerful leaders and executives may find themselves in sticky situations, distressing situations to the point of taking their own lives. Many a mogul and influential person across disciplines and professions have gone out in suicide owing to heavy burden situations which they could bear no longer. It is a very sad reality. Sometimes the leaders in the course of executing their mandate run into troubles which make them unpopular with the very people they lead.

The Bible recounts the story of King David after suffering a heavy loss at the hands of an enemy at war, so bad was the situation as the scripture below narrates;

[6] And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.  1 Samuel 30:6 KJV

His own people wanted to stone him, their own king! Just before that we learn that David and the people that were with him wept until they could weep no more.
The positivity of David is amazing, amidst all that talk of being stoned having wept the tears dry verse 6 at the end says BUT DAVID ENCOURAGED HIMSELF IN THE LORD HIS GOD!

There may not always be somebody to encourage us in the difficult times, it is through such times that we need
to dig deeper within ourselves and do
SELF ENCOURAGEMENT knowing that our redeemer lives and He will never leave us nor forsake us.

The story of David continues, he enquired of the Lord and the Lord told him to pursue the Amalekites, before throwing in the towel as bad as the situation is, it is good to enquire of the Lord for direction and guidance to move on just like David did.
David pursued the enemy with renewed vigor and God's blessing behind him smiting the enemy from twilight till evening of the next day!
What a feat to achieve after a near death by stoning experience.
The scripture continues to say;

[18] And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives. [19] And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all. 1 Samuel 30:18-19 KJV

Capture that; DAVID RECOVERED ALL!
We can all live believing and encouraging ourselves that tomorrow is a brighter day and the sun will rise and shine again! Dreams of brighter days are good dreams.
