WHO WORKS FOR A GOOD COMPANY, SO GOOD THEY CAN BRAG ABOUT? WELL CONGRATULATIONS....BUT, CAN THE COMPANY EQUALLY BRAG ABOUT YOU???

We all have an idea of "THE" companies and organisations which everyone envies to work for, these companies are the standard bearers in their fields of operation within various economies from country to country, some are international  and even rule the roost in the global stage.

Such organisations have been built by visionaries, passionate entrepreneurs  with focus and unwavering purpose. The question therefore to each one of us who finds themselves in the payrolls and premises of such companies daily is; ARE WE DOING OUR BIT diligently and vigilantly to ensure we propagate the vision, culture and most of all the kind of work ethic expected of individuals working for such organisations??
If we found it being an iconic organisation getting all the accolades, what are we doing today, right now to ensure the accolades keep coming and the organisation grows and thrives in our time and under our watch if we hold positions of authority?

Past glory and reputation can only last so long if the current situation and operation is inconsistent with the winning methods and unrivaled best practices of the former teams.

There should be no room for complacency and unduly basking in the glory of an organisation whose brand and reputation are a result of people before us who put in the effort to achieve it.
The bragging rights must be earned by each one of us putting in the work, passion, resourcefulness, initiative and intrapreneurship. We earn them with current effort and results.

Some iconic companies, giants in their own right at some point have collapsed and fallen by the wayside, overtaken by events and turned into junk at the hands of employees from top to bottom who failed to own the ideas and philosophy of those who set them up and handed them over in the passage of time.
So if we work for such companies and organisations of great repute we must ourselves exert effort, commitment and requisite competency to keep the organisation shining and in the process make the company proud to have us in its employ and brag about employing the best just as we would brag about working for the best.
