LIVE AND LET LIVE - NOBODY GATE CRUSHED INTO THE WORLD!

Everyone is the captain of their own ship. It is our choice to drive it in the direction we  deem the best for ourselves. Nobody needs anyone's permission to think of taking a certain direction with their life as much as nobody ought to impose their chosen direction on another to the detriment of the other's choice.
One recalls a very beautiful saying and cliché learnt a long time ago -
"live and let live"  Short and simple statement yet so profound and heavy with wisdom and meaning.

Even our worst enemy did not arrive here by choice, they were born the same way as we did and learnt to make choices just like us. As far as admission to the world is concerned none of us volunteered! BUT from there on we gradually learn the voluntary elements and what obligations are upon us.

We all have our aspirations  and objectives as we live from day to day and sometimes we feel as if the world owes us  free passage as we pursue them, however because amongst ourselves we also generate negativity, there are no guarantees of free passage.
To live and let live is realising that no matter what may seem to militate against us we need to remain focused in the pursuit of our aspirations, we ought to learn to ignore distractions from negative sources, negative places, negative people, negative habits and negative things. We keep our eyes on the prize, we embrace that which genuinely cooperates with us.
Cheerleaders are the side show meant to spur us on and sing our praises as we play in the main field. However, no matter how grand their performance we may not pause to watch them from on field - focus!
We are capable of generating both negativity and positivity, it is a choice we can learn to consciously make. Just as we would appreciate being given the room and cooperation in doing what we want to do it is incumbent upon us therefore to be aware that other people also need room to do what they ought to do. Live and let live!

There is a quote by Voltaire which one finds as meaningful as "live and let live". Voltaire said "Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so, too...".
We will definitely see things from our own perspective first every time, it takes effort and humility to view the same things from the another person's perspective without necessarily intending to adopt that perspective but to understand where they are coming from and why they would express and conduct themselves in a particular manner. This is to live and let live.

Steer clear of negativity, it's already  going around in excess. Some of our engagements and  relationships are toxic and detrimental to the realisation of our aspirations, anything toxic will eventually damage its repository if it is not removed timeously and a remedy administered to repair the damage. Disengaging from such relationships may not be the easiest of things to do but the best thing we could do to go forward and grow.
Our life is like a our own garden whose maintenance we are personally responsible for. To get good crops we must tend it well by weeding out all foreign unwanted elements, watering, mulching and fertilizing it with good manure. We are not responsible for the weeds in another's garden unless if we are the ones who planted the tares in it. Even the choice of crops to grow is theirs to make. It is well and noble though to be helpful to our neighbour without being overbearing and imposing just as it is noble and wise to accept help when we need it to make one another's gardens thrive and flourish.
Live and let live, by virtue of being here in this lifetime we all deserve our niches and spaces whilst we are here.
