Happy Fathers' day, Fathers! - 19th  of June 2016

So profound and deep is the meaning and role of the word "father" in our lives, even a representation of it is termed "father figure" so this message of celebration goes to all those who fill the office of "father" by their deeds, calling, and natural biological fathers who are fully conscious and active participating men doing their part in the lives of people they procreated and brought into this world.
We even begin the Lord's prayer by saying "Our father" addressing our creator, such is the profound meaning and depth of the word and the position of "father" in our existence, this therefore is a reminder to all the fathers that it's playing in a big league if one is to have a name by which we also address our God. He has called us to be like Him and let us in to share his name as fathers, may we strive therefore everyday to uphold this name and not bring it into disrepute by our deeds.
My father is a short man in physical stature, however by what he has done and taught me thus far he is a towering giant whom I hold in the highest regard. Dear Lord bless the man and grant him the abundance  of your grace.

Many men out there stand in this stead leading congregations, institutions, corporations,constituencies and whole nations executing fatherly duties and responsibilities. We salute and honor you today. Spiritual fathers and all father figures.
All males with matured sound biological faculties can sire a child yet only those with sound emotional, spiritual and mental faculties can rise to the role and status of being a real father. lack of economic and material soundness are no excuses for failure to rise and be a father if you have brought a life into the world. Running,hiding, ducking and diving are not viable and honorable solutions. Many children grow up out there yearning for the acknowledgement of the man who brought them into this world and gave them a DNA. Just to know who their father is means an immense lot to them, they may not be impressed by the person you materially are but knowing you acknowledge them as their child will somehow make them come around and one day when they have the means and ability they will honor you and acknowledge your smallest of efforts of being their father. Acknowledge your children fathers.

Other fathers have departed this world having done the best they could for their children and families they are forever missed and cherished with every day that goes by. They are the fallen heroes whose memories are engraved and deeply embedded in the hearts of their loved ones. To some these fathers were uncles and we all know the value of an uncle in our lives he is like the father's proxy and stand in figure. I therefore equally dedicate this message to the men who have gone to their rest not only as fathers but beloved uncles.
Many women also play the role of both mother and father for their children for reasons not of their own liking and doing however gracefully taking up the roles, we thank you, honor you and celebrate you with all the great men out there who are killing it as cool fathers.
